Ms. Vivi Kolliopoulou is Insurance Manager of the Angelicoussis Group, based in Athens, Greece. Vivi handles the marine and non-marine insurance matters for the Group and its expanding fleet. She performs market research for new products, designs and applies systems, and oversees the Sanctions Compliance policy across the Group.

Vivi is also the President of WISTA Hellas, as of March 2024. She has been an active member of the international organisation since 2001. Vivi has become recognised for her work in supporting women’s initiatives across the maritime industry.

Prior to joining the Angelicoussis Group in 2019, Vivi worked at Thenamaris as the Insurance and Claims Manager. Throughout her career, she has worked in the field of marine insurance both from the side of service providers and from the side of ship management and owners. After graduating university, Vivi joined a marine insurance broker and continued as an average adjuster with Richards Hogg Lindley. She then moved to the Standard P&I Club, working in their London, New York and Piraeus offices.

Vivi holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Athens, an MSc in International Shipping from the University of Plymouth and an LLM in Maritime Law from the City, University of London.
