Elias Psyllos comes from four generations of Greek shipmasters born in the Greek Island of Chios. He served his country in the Hellenic Navy as a quartermaster. He graduated with honors from University of Plymouth, England with a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Business and Maritime Law and a Master of Science in International Shipping and Logistics.
Currently, he holds the position of Vice President at T&T Salvage, headquartered in Houston, Texas. Additionally, he serves as the Vice President of the American Salvage Association. In his role, he provides comprehensive support in commercial, legal, and technical aspects to ensure smooth functioning of the company’s global operations.

He actively contributes to business development and maintains client relationships. Furthermore, he oversees internal insurance and risk management matters, including
policy management and claims reporting. As a Project Manager, he in charge of various company operations.

Prior to his current roles, Elias gained valuable experience as a Risk Manager for a London Greek Shipowning Group, where he dedicated 15 years to managing the group’s marine
insurance and claims. He also spent 4 years as a member of the group’s Marine Operations Team, actively involved in the management of Oil Tanker and Bulk Carriers.
