Daniel Dettor brings nearly two decades of experience and business acumen to his role at Resolve Marine. Founded over 42 years ago, Resolve Marine serves its clients worldwide by delivering emergency response and salvage solutions, with a specialized focus on regulatory compliance services including OPA 90 Salvage and Marine Firefighting (SMFF), Alaska APC, and China SPRO coverage.

Beginning his career as a Project Coordinator, Dettor honed his expertise in various capacities across the organization and played an active role in numerous high-profile projects worldwide.In 2013, Dettor moved to the U.K. to focus on commercial and business development matters with a focus on Resolve’s European client base.

In 2019 Dettor was appointed General Manager, Europe and in 2024 promoted to Director of Business Development with departmental oversight of Regulatory Compliance and Brand, Marketing and Communications.

Dettor holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida, an MBA from Warwick Business School and sits on the International Salvage Union’s Executive Committee.
