    The International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners (INTERCARGO) is the voice of the world’s quality dry cargo sector, bringing together 250 forward thinking companies from over 30 countries operating over 3,000 vessels. Since 1980 we provide the ONLY global sector-specific forum where dry bulk shipowners, managers and operators are informed about, discuss, and share concerns on key topics and regulatory challenges, especially in relation to security, safety, the environment, and operational excellence. We have represented the unique interests of the sector at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for over thirty years as an authorised NGO, as well as in other international shipping industry fora, having free and fair competition as our main principle.
