The Marine Insurer was launched in 2019. Published to coincide with our own and other industry-leading events, the publication has been extremely well received and has a readership that ranges from ship owners, insurers and brokers to service providers. Most of the content is provided by industry leading professionals, as well as our own journalists. The journal is free to receive and is circulated amongst our global members, conference attendees and subscribers.
INTERCARGO
The International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners (INTERCARGO) is the voice of the world’s quality dry cargo sector, bringing together 250 forward thinking companies from over 30 countries operating over 3,000 vessels. Since 1980 we provide the ONLY global sector-specific forum where dry bulk shipowners, managers and operators are informed about, discuss, and share concerns on key topics and regulatory challenges, especially in relation to security, safety, the environment, and operational excellence. We have represented the unique interests of the sector at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for over thirty years as an authorised NGO, as well as in other international shipping industry fora, having free and fair competition as our main principle. Membership of INTERCARGO is widely seen as a badge of quality throughout the industry. INTERCARGO is a Founding Member of the newly launched Dry Bulk Centre of Excellence (DBCE) and stands at the forefront of the current challenges faced by the dry bulk sector, enabling its members to promote industry issues at the highest level. The industry expertise within INTERCARGO has positioned us at the centre of the environmental agenda, and the Association is spearheading a number of key initiatives aimed at supporting IMO in its decarbonisation targets and ambitions.
